    Good morning,

    – How can we describe spool name, when we crate new pipeline? Also, does it have giving spool name automatically?

RhinoPiping comes with a customizable attribute system. You can add any number of attributes in your attribute spec, and it will be displayed in the objects properties. Attributes can also be attached to specific components, pipe or elbow classes. There isn’t any automatic naming though.
If you want to name a spool, you would create the attribute in the spec, select the spool with the command RP_SelectWholePipeline, and then change the attribute value.

    – How can we create an equipment with connection points?

The catalog provided is an example, with various equipment and pipe classes such as valves, caps, flanges, etc… Although you can use it for preliminary studies, it does not cover all the standards because RhinoPiping’s greatest strength is its highly customizable catalog: in just a few seconds you can import any geometry to a piping component with attributes and connections.

    – Can we change the connection points of fittings?
    – If we change on a valve that is included any created spool, does the created spool change by automatically with changing on valve?

Yes and No. You can edit a piping component by re-creating it with the same name. RhinoPiping will try to update the created spool but it might raise errors if the geometry is not compatible. Instead, we recommend to create a new item and use RP_ReplaceComponent command to replace it.
If a component has been changed, when opening a model you will be asked if the model or the catalog should be overwritten.

    – If we don’t use welded tee connection and we do branch connection instead of tee connection. Is there any command for that?

There is no need for a specific command, the main line creation command RP_CreatePipeLine always provides an automatic taping class that can be selected instead of tees.

-How do we describe and change piping catalog?

The Piping Catalog is a local directory. It can be backed up just by copying it, and replaced by changing its path in a config file.
